RR
Robert Reid
Executive Director
Leadership

Robert Reid serves as the Executive Director of POWER, where he leads the organization's mission to combat fraud in the staffing and labor contracting industries and to protect workers, legitimate employers, and taxpayers from large-scale employment and insurance fraud schemes.

Reid brings more than four decades of experience in corporate risk management, insurance systems, fraud prevention, and security preparedness. Over the course of his career, he has worked with privately held businesses, national trade associations, governmental agencies, and Fortune 500 companies to identify systemic risks, develop fraud prevention strategies, and design insurance and compliance programs that protect organizations and the public.

He is widely recognized as an early leader in the field of cyber risk and data breach response, advising corporate executives, boards of directors, regulators, law enforcement, and industry groups on emerging security threats, cyber fraud, and crisis response planning. Reid is an active member of the Anti-Fraud Alliance, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, InfraGard and the InfraGard National Members Alliance (INMA), an FBI-affiliated independent nonprofit dedicated to protecting U.S. critical infrastructure through collaboration between private-sector experts and federal law enforcement.

Throughout his career, Reid has advised and presented to organizations including the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Federal Trade Commission, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and the Small Business Administration helping these organizations understand emerging fraud and security risks affecting American industries.

At POWER, Reid is leading the organization's effort to expose illegal staffing networks that evade payroll taxes, workers' compensation insurance, and labor protections schemes that harm workers, distort fair competition, and impose significant costs on taxpayers. He is building a fast-growing Association of employers, investigators, policymakers, and industry professionals committed to bringing transparency, accountability, and enforcement to one of the fastest-growing and least regulated segments of the American workforce.
